Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon Gets First Big Story Trailer

Netflix has released a trailer for Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon - Part 1: A Child From Fire.

The movie focuses on Kora, a rebel fighter, who pulls together a group of dissidents to take on the tyrannical armies of the Regent Balisarius. The trailer introduces a lot of characters and lore, and there's lots of stabbing noises.

Rebel Moon - Part 1: A Child From Fire will debut on Netflix on December 22nd, with the second movie, Rebel Moon - Part 2: The Scargiver, due on April 19, 2024.

The trailer gives us our first proper look at the stars in action, including Sofia Boutella (Kingsman, The Mummy) as Kora, Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy, Pacific Rim) as Kai, Ed Skrein (Deadpool, Game of Thrones) as Admiral Atticus Noble and Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond, Guardians of the Galaxy) as General Titus.

Rebel Moon was originally a pitch from Snyder to LucasArt for his take on a Star Wars movie. It’s being supported in other formats too - Titan Comics is developing a four-issue spin-off Rebel Moon: House of the Bloodaxe.
