Bills LB Tyrel Dodson gets levied with a $11,167 fine from the NFL for his controversial hit on Cowboys QB Dak Prescott

One such hit earned LB Tyrel Dodson a hefty fine. The Bills were flagged for the play as the Cowboys got an extra 15 yards during their drive. Dodson has now been fined $11,167 for his hit on Prescott.

The hit took place during the early stages of the second quarter of the game. Prescott rushed to cover a first down in the Cowboys’ own half after the play broke down. 

While going down, Dodson delivered a nasty hit on the quarterback. Although the hit was illegal, it didn’t cause much damage to Prescott, as he quickly got up and made his way to the scrimmage line. Dodson was penalized for the hit, but the Bills had already established a 14-0 lead.

Dodson had a good game, as he recorded four tackles and half a sack. He helped the Bills stop the Cowboys’ offense, as they were able to put up only 10 points in the game. They won their week 15 game against the Los Angeles Chargers last night.

Tyrel Dodson named the NFLPA Community MVP for week 16

The Buffalo Bills’ linebacker Tyrel Dodson has been named the NFLPA Community MVP for Week 16. The fifth-year linebacker arranged a Christmas shopping trip for four YWCA of Western New York single mothers.

Giving back to hard-working moms is a special initiative to me. I know how hard my mom worked to provide for my brother and I, and I hope this was a memorable experience for them and their children. Dodson said in a recent statement.

He gave a $500 gift card, jewelry, a Christmas tree, and other holiday decorations to each of the moms. He then assisted some of his Bills teammates in wrapping the gifts the moms had bought.

The NFLPA will give $10,000 to either Dodson’s preferred charity or his foundation. In addition, he and the other weekly winners will be qualified for the Alan Page Community Award at the conclusion of the season.
